When you work down the peninsula, it's easy to forget how nice a sunny weekday in the city is. Today I had to take the car in for service and had an appointment on California St., so it was a perfect opportunity to cruise around on my old track bike with no particular agenda.
This manhole cover on California St. is interesting. Hetch Hetchy Power? Water yes, but I didn't know until I saw this that there was a power company.
This is Lafayette Park, in Pac Heights. Cool park, great for dogs. Nice big canary island palm.
